The OPTIWAVE 5200 is a 2-wire 10 GHz radar (FMCW) level transmitter for liquids, pastes and slurries. It is particularly suited for continuous, non-contact level measurement in storage or process tanks with small process connections or where it is difficult to access the tank roof (remote version recommended).

The OPTIWAVE 5200 is SIL2-compliant according to IEC 61508-2 for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). Its PP or PTFE Wave Horn antenna options make it ideal for measuring the level of corrosive liquids. Additional ease of use comes from the quick coupling system which permits 360° rotation of the housing or its removal under process conditions.
