Grounding Rings

  Grounding rings serve the purpose of mitigating electrical interference in the vicinity of electromagnetic flow meters' installation sites. For optimal functionality, it is recommended to employ two grounding rings per meter, positioned both upstream and downstream of the flow meter.

  Utilizing grounding rings plays a vital role in minimizing electrical noise, particularly when electromagnetic flow meters are installed in pipes that are lined or non-conductive. The inclusion of grounding rings becomes crucial to ensure the proper operation of such flow meters under such conditions.

  When installing in-line meters, it is essential to note that the size of the grounding rings should always correspond to the meter/flange size, rather than the original pipe size. This consideration ensures a compatible and effective installation process.
